Getting started
Orbitrio is an AI-powered platform designed to help people explore Australian visa, study and migration pathways more clearly. It brings together pathway discovery, profile assessment, visa comparison, eligibility factors, next steps and migration-agent support in one guided experience.
Orbitrio helps you understand your options. It does not make visa decisions and cannot guarantee an application outcome.
Orbitrio is operated by Orbitrio Pty Ltd, an Australian company developing technology to make migration pathway research and preparation easier to understand and manage.
Orbitrio is designed for people exploring ways to study, work, join family or build a longer-term future in Australia. It can also support people who are already in Australia and want to understand possible next pathways.
Separate tools are available for registered migration agents and migration practices.
No. Orbitrio is an independent Australian technology platform and is not part of the Department of Home Affairs or another Australian Government agency.
Where relevant, Orbitrio uses official Government information as an important source, but Government agencies remain the authoritative source for visa rules, fees and decisions.
No. Orbitrio is a technology platform.
Where personalised professional immigration assistance is appropriate, Orbitrio can help you connect with a registered migration agent.
Orbitrio provides general pathway information, structured assessments and tools that help you understand factors that may be relevant to your situation.
It does not replace personalised immigration assistance from a registered migration agent or appropriately qualified Australian legal practitioner. Complex situations can be referred for professional review.
No. You can begin with your goal, such as studying, working, joining a partner or family member, or exploring permanent migration.
Orbitrio is designed to help narrow the available pathways rather than expecting you to understand Australian visa subclasses first.
Yes. Your current location is one of the factors Orbitrio can consider when exploring potential pathways.
Yes. If you are already in Australia, your current visa and circumstances may affect which pathways are relevant. The full assessment asks for this information where required.
Yes. Orbitrio works across modern mobile phones, tablets and desktop browsers, including the assessment, pathway results, comparisons and this FAQ.
Assessment
Orbitrio asks a series of structured questions about your goals and relevant background. Depending on the pathway being explored, this may include your occupation, work experience, education, current location, passport, current visa, age, family situation, English proficiency and other eligibility or points-related factors.
Your answers are then used to identify pathways that may be worth exploring further. You can start the pathway assessment at any time.
The initial pathway orientation is designed to be very quick.
The full assessment takes longer because it collects the information needed to provide more useful pathway comparisons and next steps. The time required depends on your circumstances and the type of pathway you are exploring.
The information depends on the pathway you are exploring. It may include your migration or study goal, age, occupation, work experience, education, current country, passport, current Australian visa, family circumstances, English proficiency, previous visa history, points-related factors, funding information and relevant documents.
Orbitrio only asks questions that are relevant to the next stage of your journey.
Occupation can be important for many skilled and employer-sponsored migration pathways.
Orbitrio uses occupation information to identify potentially relevant pathways and, where appropriate, connect your occupation with the applicable Australian occupation classification and skills-assessment information.
Previous visa history may affect your circumstances and can make a case more complex.
If you tell Orbitrio that you have experienced a visa refusal or cancellation, the platform may recommend professional review before you rely on a pathway result.
Character requirements can be relevant to Australian visa applications.
If you identify a potentially significant character issue, Orbitrio may recommend that your circumstances be reviewed by an appropriately qualified professional.
Where possible, Orbitrio lets you indicate that you are unsure.
You may still be able to continue, but your result will clearly identify the missing information and explain what needs to be confirmed before a stronger pathway assessment can be produced.
Yes. You can review and update your profile as circumstances change. Updated information may affect pathway recommendations, points estimates and next steps.
Yes. Your progress is saved so you can return without starting again. Once the assessment is associated with your Orbitrio account, it is stored securely with your profile.
Yes. Your circumstances or goals may change, and you may wish to explore more than one type of pathway.
Where multiple assessments exist, Orbitrio shows the date and purpose clearly so you can distinguish them.
Pathways & eligibility
A recommended pathway means Orbitrio has identified a visa or migration pathway that may be relevant based on the information available.
It does not mean that eligibility has been formally established or that a visa will be granted. The full assessment may identify additional requirements, missing evidence or issues requiring professional review.
No. A pathway recommendation indicates that the pathway may be worth exploring.
Formal eligibility can depend on detailed requirements, supporting evidence, current Government policy and your circumstances at the relevant time.
Australian migration often involves more than one possible route.
Orbitrio may show several pathways so you can compare their requirements, advantages, limitations and next steps rather than assuming that one pathway is automatically the best choice.
Your answers may indicate that another pathway is currently more relevant, or Orbitrio may need more information before showing that visa as a possible option.
You can search for a specific visa separately and review its requirements.
It means Orbitrio does not yet have enough reliable information to make a stronger pathway recommendation.
The result shows exactly which information is missing and gives you a clear action for completing it.
Yes. Visa rules, Government programs and your personal circumstances can change.
Updating information such as age, work experience, English results, qualifications, relationship circumstances or visa status may change the pathways shown.
No. Visa decisions are made by the relevant Australian Government authority.
Orbitrio helps you understand possible pathways and prepare more effectively, but it cannot guarantee approval, nomination, sponsorship or an invitation.
No. Even if your profile satisfies minimum requirements or reaches a particular points level, this does not guarantee an invitation.
Invitation outcomes can depend on Government settings, occupation demand, nomination requirements and competition between eligible applicants.
Orbitrio can help you understand state and territory pathway information where current source data is available.
A nomination is never guaranteed, and Orbitrio does not predict Government decisions.
Yes. Orbitrio can help you compare visa pathways side by side, including relevant requirements, costs, timing information and important eligibility factors where current information is available.
Volatile information shows the date on which it was last checked.
Skilled migration
Orbitrio can provide an estimated points breakdown using the information you provide. The calculation shows each factor individually so you can understand how the estimate was produced.
It is an informational estimate and is not an official Government determination.
No. The points shown by Orbitrio are an estimate based on your answers and the migration rules represented in the platform.
You remain responsible for ensuring that information and supporting evidence are correct.
No. Meeting a minimum threshold may allow someone to be considered under a particular pathway, but it does not guarantee an invitation.
Actual invitation outcomes can depend on Government settings and competition between eligible candidates.
Where appropriate, Orbitrio may identify factors that could potentially strengthen a profile, such as English proficiency, additional relevant experience or other recognised points factors.
These are presented as matters to investigate, not promises that taking a particular action will produce a visa outcome.
English proficiency can affect eligibility and points for some skilled migration pathways.
Orbitrio distinguishes between a self-assessment of your English and recognised evidence such as an accepted English test result.
ANZSCO is an occupational classification system used to organise occupations and their characteristics.
Where relevant, Orbitrio displays both the occupation title and the applicable occupation code so you can confirm that the occupation selected accurately reflects your work.
Job titles vary between countries and employers.
Orbitrio helps you search for the closest relevant occupation based on the nature of your work, rather than relying only on the wording of your job title. If the match is uncertain, you are asked to confirm it.
A skills assessment is an assessment carried out by an authorised assessing body for certain migration purposes. Whether you need one, which assessing authority applies and what evidence is required depends on the pathway and occupation.
Orbitrio can help identify relevant information but does not itself issue an official skills assessment.
No. Selecting an occupation helps Orbitrio explore relevant pathways.
An official skills assessment is a separate process undertaken by the relevant assessing authority.
Relevant overseas work experience may affect eligibility or points for some pathways.
The full assessment collects enough information to distinguish potentially relevant experience from employment that may not meet the applicable requirements.
Australian work experience can be relevant to certain migration pathways and points calculations.
Orbitrio considers it separately from overseas experience where appropriate.
Documents
Yes. Once enough information is known about your profile and selected pathway, Orbitrio can show a structured checklist of documents and information that may need to be prepared.
The checklist clearly distinguishes between required, potentially required, missing and already supplied items.
Where document upload is enabled within your account, relevant files can be added to support profile completion, application preparation or migration-agent review.
Document handling follows the Orbitrio Privacy Policy and security controls.
No. An uploaded document can be checked for completeness, organisation or relevant information where the feature supports this.
An Orbitrio review is not Government verification or formal legal verification.
Yes. A key part of the pathway report is identifying unanswered questions, missing information and potentially missing supporting evidence.
You receive a clear action rather than a generic error.
Only where you have chosen to share the relevant information with a migration agent through the Orbitrio workflow.
You are told what will be shared before consent is given.
Migration agents
Professional review may be useful when your situation is complex, you are uncertain about important eligibility requirements, or you have circumstances such as previous visa refusals, cancellations, character concerns, complicated family circumstances or other issues requiring individual assessment.
Orbitrio makes professional support easy to access without suggesting that every user must use an agent.
Yes. Where the service is available, Orbitrio can help you connect with a registered migration agent for professional review or migration assistance.
Where Orbitrio displays a registered migration agent, their registration status has been checked against the relevant official register, and the most recent verification date is shown where practical.
Registration does not mean an agent is endorsed by the Australian Government.
Not necessarily. Agents available through Orbitrio may be independent professionals or members of migration practices that use or participate in the Orbitrio platform.
The relationship is clearly explained before a consultation is booked.
With your permission, Orbitrio can prepare a structured case summary containing relevant profile information, possible pathways, occupation information, points factors, documents, missing information and identified risk flags.
The goal is to help the agent begin with an organised case rather than asking you to start again.
Not necessarily. Where you consent to sharing your Orbitrio case summary, the migration agent can review the information before or during the consultation.
The agent may still ask additional questions or verify particular answers.
A migration agent may charge professional fees separately from Orbitrio platform charges.
Any professional fee is explained by the relevant migration agent or practice before you agree to the service.
Tell Orbitrio accurately about previous refusals or cancellations.
These circumstances may require a more detailed assessment, and Orbitrio may recommend professional review before you rely on a pathway result.
No. Orbitrio is designed to support professional workflows, not replace the professional judgement and legal responsibilities of a registered migration agent.
Depending on the client's journey and consent, the case summary can include profile details, potential pathways, occupation information, points factors, uploaded documents, missing information and identified issues requiring review.
Yes. The agent experience allows the professional to review the underlying client information, pathway reasoning and relevant source information rather than relying on an unexplained AI result.
No. Orbitrio can support research, administration, information organisation and case preparation. Professional decisions remain with the migration practitioner.
Student Hub
Student Hub helps you explore Australian courses, education providers and scholarship opportunities alongside your broader study and migration goals.
It is designed to make education research easier to organise and compare.
Yes. Student Hub can help you discover courses based on factors such as subject area, qualification level, institution, location and other profile information supported by the platform.
Student Hub can help identify scholarship opportunities that may be relevant to your profile.
A scholarship match is a potential match, not confirmation that you are eligible or will receive the scholarship.
No. Admission decisions are made by the education provider.
Orbitrio can help you discover and research courses, but it cannot guarantee an offer of admission.
No. Scholarship eligibility and selection are determined by the organisation providing the scholarship.
Orbitrio helps you identify opportunities that may be worth investigating.
No. Studying a particular course does not guarantee a future visa, permanent residency, nomination or skilled migration invitation.
Orbitrio helps you understand possible connections between education and migration pathways without presenting those connections as guaranteed outcomes.
Course, scholarship and provider information can change.
Where practical, Orbitrio shows the source and most recent review date for information that can materially affect your decision.
AI & accuracy
Orbitrio uses AI to help interpret your questions, organise information, support research, explain pathways and turn complex information into a clearer guided experience.
AI is combined with structured product logic and relevant source information rather than being treated as the final authority on migration decisions.
No. Orbitrio can help identify potentially relevant pathways and eligibility factors, but visa decisions are made by the appropriate Australian Government authority.
Where professional judgement is required, you are directed to an appropriately qualified professional.
Yes. AI systems can sometimes misunderstand information, miss context or produce incomplete results.
Orbitrio therefore shows important sources, review dates and uncertainty where appropriate, and directs you to official information or professional review when a matter should not rely solely on AI.
Orbitrio prioritises authoritative Australian Government sources and other relevant official or recognised sources when building migration information.
Where the information is time-sensitive, Orbitrio shows when it was last checked.
Migration rules can change. Orbitrio maintains a review process for important migration content and shows review dates for information such as visa charges, program settings and other time-sensitive requirements.
The current official Government source takes precedence.
You can report potentially outdated Orbitrio information so it can be reviewed.
No. AI and registered migration agents serve different purposes.
Orbitrio can help you research, organise information and prepare your profile. A registered migration agent can provide professional immigration assistance where individual review is required.
Use the “Report outdated information” action where it appears, or contact Orbitrio support with the page and the content you believe is out of date.
Reports enter an internal content-review workflow.
Privacy & security
Orbitrio collects information needed to provide the services you choose to use. Depending on the feature, this may include account information, migration profile information, assessment answers, documents and interactions with Orbitrio.
The Privacy Policy provides the complete description.
Migration pathways can depend on individual circumstances.
Orbitrio uses relevant information to tailor the assessment, identify possible pathways, explain eligibility factors, prepare next steps and, where you choose, prepare information for migration-agent review.
Orbitrio uses protections such as secure connections, access controls, authentication and other technical and organisational measures.
See the Privacy Policy for additional details.
Pricing
Yes. You can explore the website and begin the initial pathway experience without committing to a paid service.
Where particular features require payment or credits, the cost is made clear before you start the paid action.
Credits are a way of accessing selected Orbitrio features or services.
Before a credit is used, you can see which action requires it and how many credits will be deducted. Credits are never deducted without clearly informing you. See Pricing for current inclusions.
The interface clearly identifies credit-consuming actions before you confirm them.
Because credit usage can change, the current inclusions are listed on the Pricing page.
No, unless a particular offer explicitly states otherwise. Australian Government visa application charges are separate from Orbitrio platform charges.
Where Government fees are displayed for information, the source and review date are identified.
Migration-agent professional fees are generally separate unless the relevant Orbitrio product or offer explicitly states that a service is included.
You see the professional fee before agreeing to a consultation or engagement.
No, unless explicitly stated as part of a particular service.
Third-party charges such as skills assessments, language testing, medical examinations, police certificates, education applications and Government charges are generally separate.
Refund eligibility depends on the product or service purchased and the applicable Terms of Service and Australian consumer law.
The relevant refund terms apply rather than a separate FAQ policy.
